A Short History of Nearly Everything

Just finished re-reading one of my all time favourite books – Bill Bryson’s A Short History of Nearly Everything. It is like a comfort blanket, and reminds me of where I belong in space and time. I bought it as soon as it was published because I am a Science Educator (!), but would recommend it to all humans to read. I love the way he writes, I love the way he explains and makes sense of things, and especially the way he tells the stories of the scientists. Of course I forget most of the facts as soon as I finish it, but the Big Picture stays…
